Joseph Corriero, JD, MBA


Joseph Corriero, JD, MBA is an Associate Lawyer with Pier Law & Mediation.

Joseph has over ten years of experience in the legal profession, first joining the profession as a Paralegal before obtaining his Law Degree and MBA in 2015. Joseph was called to the bar in 2016 and is licensed to practice in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. Joseph’s practice areas include Family Law and Personal Injury.

Joseph began his legal career as a civil litigator acting for innocent victims injured in motor vehicle collisions. Joseph successfully represented his clients before the B.C. Supreme Court, the Social Security Tribunal of Canada, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and the License Appeal Tribunal. Joseph has successfully obtained hundreds of out-of-court settlements at Mediation and Arbitration as a civil litigator. 

As a Family Lawyer, Joseph represents clients in both Provincial and Supreme Court matters. He is an effective negotiator that has successfully assisted his clients to resolve disputes outside of Court. In amicable situations, Joseph is able to assist his clients with matters including marriage agreements, cohabitation agreements and separation agreements.

Joseph graduated from the University of Toronto in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics which he completed with Honours. After graduating from the University of Toronto, Joseph obtained his P1 Paralegal License. He practiced as a Paralegal for four years in the field of personal injury law until 2012, when he enrolled in law school. In 2015 he completed his Juris Doctor (JD) degree at Bond University in Australia, along with his Master of Business Administration (MBA). Joseph graduated from Bond University with Honours.
