Originally from the White Rock area, Monica is delighted to join Pier Law & Mediation after over eight years of family law practice in the Fraser Valley.
Monica is passionate about assessing each client’s needs and crafting strategies to effectively and efficiently resolve each case. She will fight for what is right while treating those involved in the dispute resolution process with respect.
Monica has the legal expertise and knowledge to represent clients using court processes as well as alternative dispute resolution methods. She routinely achieves positive outcomes through skilful problem-solving and advocacy.
Monica enjoys a practical, bold, and considered approach to challenging matters. Each case brings a unique set of issues, with many clients initially facing uncertainty regarding finances or issues affecting their children. Monica’s honest and informed communication with her clients and dedication to efficient problem-solving is rooted in an empathetic understanding of the benefits of a fair and timely resolution.
Prior to practice, Monica taught English to students from across the globe. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors locally and across the province, usually with her miniature dachshund in tow.
