Julie has practiced exclusively in family law for over a decade. She represents clients on a range of issues including parenting time, relocation, division of property and debt, determination of excluded property, child support, and spousal support. Julie’s goal is to reach a fair result for her clients and has extensive experience reaching settlement through negotiation or mediation. When necessary, she is ready to advocate for her clients in court. She has experience at all stages of the litigation process and has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia, including as counsel in a precedent setting property and excluded property decision at the British Columbia Court of Appeal.  

Julie is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia (TLABC) and has sat on the Board of Governors since 2023. She has been a frequent contributor to the Family Law Article of the Verdict

Julie graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts and moved to British Columbia in 2009 to attend law school at the University of British Columbia. Julie graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2012 with a Juris Doctor. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2013. 

Outside of law, Julie enjoys travelling, wine tasting and spending time with friends and family.
