Kendelle Pollitt Named Finalist in Business Person of the Year Category

Our founder, Kendelle Pollitt, has been named a Finalist for the 2025 Surrey & White Rock Business Excellence Awards in the Business Person of the Year category, presented by the Surrey White Rock Board of Trade (SWRBOT).

This recognition highlights Kendelle’s exceptional leadership as the visionary behind Pier Law & Mediation, one of BC’s top-growing law firms (The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business magazine 2024). In just six years, Kendelle has grown Pier Law & Mediation 10x in size, expanding from a single office in White Rock to three (soon to be four) thriving locations across the Lower Mainland and Sunshine Coast.

Kendelle’s impact extends far beyond the courtroom — prioritizing philanthropy, mentorship, mental wellness, and community connection alongside growth and legal excellence. This isn’t the first time Kendelle’s leadership has been recognized by the Surrey Board of Trade. In early 2025, Kendelle was also a finalist for the Woman of the Year award, underscoring her influence as a trailblazer for women in business and law.

Being named a finalist for Business Person of the Year alongside other remarkable leaders — Jas Oberoi (Jas Oberoi Group) and Steve Pisiak (Ultimate Performance) — is a testament to Kendelle’s bold vision, values-driven growth, and unwavering commitment to community.

“Success isn’t just about growth,” says Kendelle Pollitt. “It’s about building something meaningful — something that serves people, uplifts community, and creates opportunity.”

We are thrilled to celebrate Kendelle’s recognition as a finalist and grateful to our clients, colleagues, and community partners who inspire our work every day.

The winners of the 2025 Surrey & White Rock Business Excellence Awards will be announced at the gala this fall. Stay tuned — and please join us in congratulating Kendelle on this well-deserved honour!
