Chris Cheong

Chris is a lawyer with Pier Law & Mediation. He has appeared in the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Chris has represented clients from all walks of life and seeks to use his empathetic approach to make his clients’ stories heard in all manner of legal proceedings. He believes in client engagement, taking the time to incorporate their goals, concerns, and feedback into his work.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Political Science from McGill University. He was called to the Bar in 2023 after earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan and completing his articles at a boutique litigation firm in Vancouver.

During law school, Chris worked at CLASSIC, a legal clinic in the inner city of Saskatoon, where he assisted low-income members of the community. He was also awarded the Donald Maclean Memorial Scholarship, the Senator John and Dr. Helen Hnatyshyn Scholarship, and the Ariel F. Sallows Scholarship in Law for academic excellence.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys finding new hiking trails in the summer and skiing in the winter (and happy hour after).
