FOUNDER, MANAGING LAWYER, AND MEDIATOR
Kendelle Pollitt, LLB, Q.Med. is the founder and principal of Pier Law & Mediation.
Kendelle is both a family lawyer and certified mediator practicing in Surrey and White Rock.
After 15 years’ practicing family law in both Vancouver and Fraser Valley law firms, Kendelle decided to start her own South Surrey/Whiterock-based firm so that she could provide a more personalized and supportive service to those navigating divorce, adoptions, spousal and child support, and custody and guardianship.
Peter Leask, KC
MEDIATOR
Peter Leask, KC is a Mediator with Pier Law & Mediation.
Harvard graduate Peter Leask, KC (King’s Counsel), is a Law Society accredited family law mediator and joined Pier Law & Mediation as a Family Law Mediator in November 2025. Leveraging his exceptional experience as both a Justice of the Supreme Court and a long-serving litigator, Peter is committed to constructive problem-solving; believing the court should always be the last resort.

Stephanie is a long-time resident of the White Rock area, where she has raised her three children. She is particularly engaged by travel, nature, history and art.

Peter Matanaj is a family law lawyer at Pier Law & Mediation. Peter earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2021, after completing a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) in 2018. During law school, Peter volunteered with Student Legal Services, gaining early experience in client advocacy and community service.
Kylie Wystrach
DESIGNATED PARALEGAL
Kylie Wystrach is a Designated Paralegal with Pier Law & Mediation.
Kylie’s designation empowers her to provide legal information directly to clients and assist them in almost all aspects of their family law case, including preparing legal documents, and attendance at some tribunals. Kylie frequently attends court alongside counsel.
Kelly Watts
HEAD PARALEGAL
Kelly began her career in the legal field as a legal administrative assistant in 1987. In 1990, she commenced her paralegal studies part-time at Capilano University while continuing to work full-time. Since successfully graduating in 1994, she has excelled as a paralegal, specializing in personal injury, ICBC defense, and general litigation in her early career.
In 2003, Kelly shifted her focus primarily to family law, where she has worked with clients across all levels of court, favoring a collaborative approach to resolving disputes.
